Iberostar Grand is next door to the other Iberostar properties but cannot be accessed from them. The main building looks like a mix of several Vegas resorts. There are a lot of oceanfront rooms. It seemed very stuffy and would not be the place for young adults or anyone wanting a little fun and action, although they could go to the other resorts. This would be for upscale older couples who want more of the 4 Seasons experience. Beth
Dream Puerto Adventuras is next door to Catalonia. On the same reef as Catalonia and it is safe for swimming. Great family resort but has an adults only pool area. Movies on the beach every night. We really liked the Ocean Coral. All the rooms run parallel to the ocean, which is very unusual in the Mayan. The rooms had ocean views and you could even hear the waves. We liked the fact that everywhere you went you could see the water. The privilege section, I thought is worth the money.
